  • How to say why I like this wine? (Systematic approach to wine tasting)

  • What wines to open during meals? (Basic principles of food and wine pairing)

  • Having wines at home? (Wine storage tips and wine serving techniques)


In 6 hours only, our wine teachers will bring your wine knowledge to a pro level, with an internationally recognised certificate.

Last time we have Italy Sparkling, so these round why not try the Champagne method sparkling around the world? South Africa, Tasmania, USA all make very high end sparkling in Champagne method. Let see how they PK will 6 Champagne bottles. Only NV is too boring, so this round we have 2 well ageing vintage Champagnes, 2004 & 2006. The 2004 one even aging on lees for 10 years.

Furthers, after mid-autumn, we can have Dai Pai Dong take away from Tai Chung Wah Restaurant and preorder their famous roast goose. Food cost will be counted separately. Please let me know if you want to join the Champagne wine pairing with delicious Cantonese Cuisine.

Like usual, we will have 2 WSET Lv4 candidates elaborate one by one, by using WSET lv4 tasting technique.

Returns to Hong Kong Again!

This year is the fourth year for Whisky Live, the best whisky festival among the world, to be held in Hong Kong. There have been more than 38 cities worldwide joining every year. This amazing occasion is a prime opportunity where whisky enthusiasts can mingle with world-renowned whisky makers, master blenders and brand ambassadors. Participants are also able to taste whiskies from different countries and distilleries.

Last year, 2,000 tickets of the third edition of Whisky Live Hong Kong were sold out in less than 2 week’s time. In light of the great success, Whisky Live Hong Kong 2019 will continue to organize at the PMQ, Central, in such a convenient location for whisky connoisseurs, amateurs and those who start to be interested in whisky. We are also bringing more entertainment besides whiskies.

This year we will showcase hundreds of whiskies, and offer master classes, concoctions from Hong Kong’s premier mixologists, whisky and food pairings from renowned chefs, and a range of entertainment programs with high-end lifestyle focus, we are bring more culinary experience to match whiskies from different regions.

Another most exciting highlight of Whisky Live HK 2019 is the Rhythm in a Cask Music Festival. Groups of talented artists and musicians will gather and show their music talent. Their impressive all rounded musical abilities from song writing, production to live performance represent what modern day artists are capable of. This festival, with a focus on ‘Rhythm’, is a Hybrid of Funk, R&B, Jazz, Soul, Blues…etc, the sound which you don’t normally find in indie band gigs, and are always undermined from local live houses.explores the scope of nowadays music genres in HK, also provide a perfect vibes for chilling out and quality whisky tasting.
